Grubin To Speak at the 21st Annual NYU Workshop on Employment Law for Federal JudgesOn Wednesday, March 21st, Partner Scott Grubin will be part of the NYU faculty for a panel on Case Management Issues in Employment Cases, from 1:15-2:30 pm, as part of the 21st Annual NYU Workshop on Employment Law for Federal Judges, co-sponsored by the Federal Judicial Center (FJC), the Institute of Judicial Administration (IJA) and the Center for Labor and Employment Law at NYU School of Law. The Workshop is one of the FJC’s most attended programs, attracting federal judges from around the country. Each panel typically consists of a federal judge, and a plaintiff- and management-side attorney. Although Scott has been in-house representing both employers and employees he will be presenting from the employee-side of his experience for this panel. Co-panelists include Robert Whitman (Seyfarth Shaw) and Judge Kiyo Matsumoto (EDNY). The panel will explore practical strategies for expeditious and fair case handling, best mediation and settlement practices, dealing with electronic and other discovery disputes and handling pro se litigants. |
