Kenneth N. Rashbaum recently appeared before the NJ Assembly Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committee where he spoke to the increase in cybersecurity and privacy protocols and compliance requirements of multinational organizations in order to do business in the states.

Ken, the Chair of Barton’s GDPR Compliance Group, was also quoted in Brink, a Marsh publication as well as Forbes.com in an article, “Does GDPR Matter if You’re Based in the U.S.?” Ken points out the importance of transparency between the person who owns the data and the user of said data; keep it secure and discard it safely when it is no longer needed.
