Although awarded a 16-month injunction against a broker who stepped out to a new firm, Partner James E. Heavey (who was not involved in the case) tells Advisor Hub that it really was not much of a victory for Schwab and more likely an attempt to save face after not having the requisite evidence to support their claims at final FIRNA hearing, Heavey concludes that “This is really not much of a concession at all for the advisor.” The article, in its entirety, can be read here.
